Water System Location Mapping

The Village of Bellflower has contracted with Illinois Rural Water Association (IRWA) to create a digital map of all water connections (service shutoff valves, main shutoff valves, fire hydrants, etc.). To complete this work, Mitch Yeadon from the village water department will be painting a blue circle around the shutoff valve for every village property. Later an IRWA employee will electronically capture the marked location. The electronic map of every water connection will prevent delays when emergency water shutoffs are needed.
