Treasurer

The treasurer is responsible to the village board for all village financial matters.

On April 5, 2020, the village board adopted ordinance 2020-02 which discontinued the appointed office of treasurer and transferred the duties of the treasurer to the village clerk.

Employment - part time

Term of Office - appointed by the village president, with the advice and consent of the trustees, at the May village board meeting to serve during the ensuing fiscal year.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Fund accounting
• Revenue collection
• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• Payroll
• Water billing and accounting
• Internal and external financial reporting
• Budgeting
• Debt management
• Grant financial administration
• Annual audit coordination
