Trustees

Six trustees are elected to represent the village at large.

Employment - part time

Term of Office - 4 years; elected at the consolidated election held on the first Tuesday in April of odd-numbered years.  Three trustees are elected in one election cycle, and the remaining three trustees are elected two years later.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Review the meeting notice and agenda, along with all supporting documents, before each board meeting
• Attend board meetings
• Approve prior meeting minutes
• Approve expenditures since last board meeting
• Participate in discussion and decision making at board meetings
• Stand by decisions made by the board
• Serve on committees as assigned by the village president
• Participate in community events to be visible and accessible to our citizens
