Water Quality Report
The Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), originally passed by Congress in 1974 and amended in 1986 and 1996, was established to protect public health by regulating the nation’s public drinking water supply. The law requires community water systems to provide their customers with an annual Consumer Confidence Report (CCR), also called the Annual Drinking Water Quality Report, which includes information on source water, the levels of any detected contaminants, and compliance with drinking water rules.
Each Spring the Village of Bellflower compiles a report using prior year water quality data supplied by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.
The current CCR is displayed below. To see the CCR for a prior year, scroll down and click on the document link.
