Breakfast with Santa
Breakfast with Santa, sponsored by the Village of Bellflower, is held in the Community Center cafeteria on a Saturday morning in early December.

Christmas Eve Program
The annual Community Christmas Eve Program, held in the Community Center gym at 7:00 p.m. on December 24th, is the most well-loved and longest running event in Bellflower’s history.  In the one hundred years since this program began, it has only been cancelled five times:  in 1931 due to the scarlet fever pandemic, during World War II, in 1983 due to a blizzard blocked all roads, in 2008 due to an ice storm that made travel impossible, and most recently in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The 100th performance of the program will be held on December 24, 2023.

The Christian, Methodist, and Catholic churches rotate responsibility for directing the program each year.  Community children and adults make up the cast, choir, and backstage crew.  The program begins with a community Christmas sing-along and ends with the arrival of Santa.  Everyone who attends receives a treat bag containing candy and an orange.  This is a community event not to be missed.

Lions Club Pancake and Sausage Supper
The Bellflower Lions Club conducts an annual Pancake and Sausage Supper in the Bellflower Community Center cafeteria.  Typically held in February, the event raises funds to support local club activities.
